This will probably be my next cell phone but I’m annoyed that it’s incompatible with my Treo. I know it’s silly but why can’t they just make a new Treo with better hardware?

This article is business related but the same thing is true at home. I have a Shuttle PC that is about 5 years old hooked up to my television and it works fine. People are too quick to chuck their old PCs. Usually it’s the operating system (Windows) that has slowed to a crawl; a re-install, or installing Linux, could make it run like new (or at least new-ish). That said, my Shuttle is running Win2K and it’s fine.
